Dollie Kyarn is a photographer living and working in rural Appalachia.Using analog processes to document her own life and the lives of others with a focus on queer people throughout rural America. Through slow methodical processes she fosters intimacy with her subject and forces the viewer to reflect on the fragility and persistence of memory, identity, and place.
